Bidding opens on June 16 in the Sherlock Committee’s fic auction, with proceeds being used to fund the committee’s panels and activities at DashCon 2014, including the SuperWhoLock Hunt.
The silent auction is being hosted on the Sherlock Committee’s LiveJournal from 12:01am EST on June 16 through 11:59pm EST on June 22, and it’s already shaping up to be amazing.
The auction has authors offering up their talents in the form of commission slots and features 40+ of the Sherlock fandom’s most talented fic authors, who write everything from ACD to BBC to Elementary to RDJ.
For a full list of authors, you can consult the Sherlock Authors Master Post, where everyone is organized in alphabetical order. You will likely find many of your favourites and might even discover a few new favourites as well. You can also view the Authors’ Spotlight page!
Also at auction this week are the Hetalia, Videogames, Merlin, and Homestuck Committees. If interested, you can find out more about the auctions or how to help out at the convention on DashCon’s main blog.
DashCon, formerly known as Tumbl-Con USA, is being held in the Chicago area on July 11-13, 2014. Registration for badges and the hotel block opens June 21, and rooms are expected to go quickly.
